Garrett Gurthie won the Veterans Park Open in a playoff over Paul Ulibarri, with Nikko Locastro just one shot back in third place. Des Reading won the women’s division by 4 shots over Paige Pierce. Mitch McClellan won the masters division by 5 shots over Tony Shirley,
taylormade r15 driver, and Daryl Johnson won the grandmasters by 6 shots over Mark Martin.

Steve Brinster won the Animalfest XII by 9 shots over Craig Cutler and 13 shots ahead of Nate Krahn in 3rd place,
titleist ap1 714.

Minneapolis Disc Golf Examiner

I found out about, and started playing disc golf in 1978 when the sport was in its infancy. There was only 1 good course in Minnesota at that time,
titleist 915 d2, Acorn Park. I played for several years, and then took a while off. The sport is one of the fastest growing sports in the world, and I have gotten back a passion for the sport. I have been playing again for the past 2 years and want to do all I can to help promote new courses and new players. Disc golf is very inexpensive, good for exercise, and a lot of fun.
